Review - Off the Menu
Typical cliche romance, but the characters are likeable.

| Description: | Joel (Santino Fontana) is a slacker who lives off his family's wealth -- they own a Mexican fast food franchise. Business is drooping, so Joel is sent to New Mexico to find new recipes. He happens upon a restaurant run by Javiera (Dania Ramirez), a single mom of a 10-year-old daughter. Javiera is the local rage for the recipes she comes up with using peppers. After all the usual bad first impression stuff, Joel and Javiera fall for each other. Then Joel's sister shows up and tells Javiera about the fast food stuff. She kicks Joel out, but Joel is in love. He goes back to New Mexico and wins her love by (conveniently) saving her daughter from drowning in a river. Joel stays in town, becomes a lawyer, and marries Javiera. |
