Reviews for Thoroughly Modern Millie

Review - Thoroughly Modern Millie

For starters, it was a slapstick comedy about white slavery — with "funny" scenes in a brothel full of bound women in cages. Next, it had Carol Channing, who looks and acts like a thoroughly annoying cartoon. And last, the songs were absolutely forgettable. The only mildly funny thing in the entire movie was the occasional moments when Millie's thoughts were portrayed on the screen like silent-movie titles.
