Review - Valley of the Sun
Craig and Ball do their best with a lame plot and lame dialogue, but in the end, it's unsatisfying and silly.

| Description: | Slapstick western about Jonathan Ware (James Craig) who fights for the Apaches who are being ripped off by Indian agent Jim Sawyer (Dean Jagger). Ware is arrested for helping some Apaches escape from prison. He escapes and ends up in Tucson just before Sawyer marries Christine Larson (Lucille Ball). The rest of the movie involves Ware attempting to get Sawyer to give the Indians the cattle he stole from them while at the same time, trying to keep him from marrying Christine. Along the way, there are fights with Indians and a lot of slapstick. In the end, Sawyer is forced to quit and Ware marries Christine. |
