Review - Take Me Home Tonight
Some good characters and situations, but way too much swearing and other junk to be a good movie.

| Description: | Matt (Topher Grace) is a brilliant M.I.T. graduate who's working at a video store. He sees his high-school crush, Tori (Teresa Palmer) in the store and strikes up a conversation — hiding his uniform and pretending to be a banker. Tori invites him to a party at the home of Kyle (Chris Pratt), who happens to be dating Matt's twin sister, Wendy (Anna Faris). Matt and his friend Barry steal a Mercedes from the dealership where Barry was recently fired. The evening begins well, with Matt and Tori hitting it off. But when he decides to be honest and tell the truth about his job, she's upset with him for lying. Then he and Barry crash the car, and the first cop on the scene is Matt's dad. He's disappointed with Matt for being a coward and not making anything of himself. In response, Matt returns to the party and takes a dare — to ride inside a giant metal ball down a hill. He gets all banged up and almost drowns when the ball lands in a pool, but somehow it gets Tori to take another look at him. Meanwhile, Wendy, who is also brilliant, decides that settling for the partying Kyle is a bad idea. |
