| Description: | Greg Wilson (Dane Clark) owns a half interest in a gas station. He is invited by a friend to a party at the home of automobile maker James Alden (Sydney Greenstreet) and is convinced that he and the wealthy don't mix — especially after he meets Alden's daughter, Marcia. Meanwhile, Alden gets bored with retirement and buys a half-interest in Greg's gas station under an assumed name. The gas station is a success. Greg and Marcia bump into each other and begin liking each other although they quarrel. And the local mob frames the two of them in a stolen-tire scheme while one member of the mob courts Marcia for her money. In the end, Alden comes out of retirement, the mob is stopped, and Greg and Marcia end up together. |
