Description:Mystery writer Kenneth Magee (Phillip Terry) travels to the remote Baldpate Inn to try to win a bet that he can write a novel in the "haunted" mansion in 24 hours. During the night, several other people show up including Mary (Jacqueline White) who was sent by the owner to distract Magee from writing; Cargan, a mysterious man who claims to be the caretaker; Connie, ex-girlfriend of ...; Max, a thug; Prof. Bolton; Pete, a local hermit; and two others. Mary realizes quickly that there's more going on than a bet, but Magee, who finds out who she is, thinks she's just trying to trick him. In the end, three people are killed. It all revolves around a jewel theft, the jewel owner who arranged the robbery so he could collect insurance, several thugs, and an insurance investigator. All comes right in the end (except for the dead people), and Mary ends up in Magee's arms.

Review - Seven Keys to Baldpate

Not a huge fan of mysteries. This one was done tongue-in-cheek — except for the dead bodies. Definitely a B-movie.
