Description:Husband Leo (Channing Tatum) and wife Paige (Rachel McAdams) are heading home from a movie when she takes her seat belt off to kills him. They're rear-ended, and Paige is thrown through the windshield. When she comes to, she has no memory of the last five years, including Leo and their marriage. She tries to piece things back together with him, but her parents (Sam Neill and Jessica Lange) don't like Leo or the life Paige had after she left home, so they encourage her to come back and pick up where she remembers. This includes her old fiance. Leo tries everything he can, even taking Paige out on dates to their old hangouts, but she shuts him out. He gives up trying and tries to pick up the pieces of his life. Meanwhile, Paige finds things out about her parents and her fiance that cause her to make the same choices again. She leaves home, moves into the city, and after a few months and some physical reminders of her forgotten marriage, she looks Leo up and asks him out.

Reviews for The Vow

Review - Vow, The

I enjoyed it. Tatum, as Leo was a sympathetic character who obviously loved his wife. McAdams was also good, portraying the confusion well, although her character was a little less after the accident and before the ending. Neill and Lange were the villains they were supposed to be. Based on a real couple who had this happen to them. They got back together and made it work for a long time but eventually divorced.
