Review - Playtime
Every little plot, but a lot of brilliant sight gags and a clever satire on the modern world.

| Description: | Monsieur Hulot (Jacques Tati) wanders around in an industrialized version of Paris in which everything is gray and everyone looks and acts the same while admiring the latest gadgets. Also wandering on and off the screen is a group of American women on a tour. One of them, Barbara, isn't impressed with the latest and looks for the real Paris. By chance, she and Hulot end up dancing together in a nightclub on opening night. While everything goes wrong around them, they join up with a couple of others who just decide to have fun in the chaos. |
