Description:When two MI6 spies are killed in Berlin by a neo-Nazi gang, Agent Quiller (George Segal) is sent to track them down. He meets schoolteacher Inge (Senta Berger) and has a fling. He stirs things up and is captured by the bad guys led by Oktober (Max von Sydow). He's drugged, but allowed to escape. He tries to find where he'd been taken, and Inge thinks she knows somebody who knows somebody. He finds Oktober's H.Q. but Inge has been captured. Quiller is given the choice — reveal the MI6 H.Q. or she dies. He's given to dawn and allowed to roam the streets, followed by Oktober's men. He sneaks away and intentionally sets off a car bomb planted to kill him. He then leads MI6 to their H.Q. and Oktober and his men are captured. There's no mention of a woman, however, which leads Quiller to understand that Inge was working with Oktober the entire time. He confronts her, but lets her go.

Reviews for The Quiller Memorandum

Review - Quiller Memorandum, The

Slow-moving, intellectual thriller with one major flaw. Segal was woefully miscast as Quiller, He seemed to be about to fall asleep the entire time, and his action sequences were unbelievable.
