Description:Follows the course of a couple soldiers through parachute training. Donald Morse (Robert Preston), star college quarterback, has always wanted to be in the army, and once he meets Kit (Nancy Kelly), the sergeant's daughter, he wants to marry her. Bill Burke (Edmond O'Brien), coward, joins to prove something to his father, the commander. Jeff (Buddy Ebsen), hillbilly, is along for comic relief. Morse flies through training, but strikes out with Kit. Burke gets over his cowardice and even saves Morse's life when his parachute gets caught on the tail of the plane. And it's Morse who ends up with Kit.

Review - Parachute Battalion

Another of those weird movies put out during the war years which are basically a documentary on one of the services, with a thin plot stuck on as an afterthought.
