Description:Tim (James Ellison) goes to Argentina to buy oil for his boss. When that falls through, his boss instructs him to buy a race horse from O'Shea, an Argentinian rancher. Tim goes the ranch and tries to convince O'Shea to sell the horse. O'Shea's daughter, Lolita (Maureen O'Hara) falls for Tim, but Tim doesn't pay much attention. Then, because the movie is almost over, he suddenly ends up with both Lolita and the horse.

Review - They Met in Argentina

Stupid plot with a huge gap at the end. Ellison is wooden, O'Hara underused. Buddy Ebsen was along as Tim's partner and did his usual hillbilly mugging and singing. A few of the songs were mildly catchy.
