Review - Tall Man Riding
Some good parts. Peggie Castle was good in her role. But too much going on and too many people switching sides. It all just got a little silly

| Description: | Five years early, Tucker Ordway drove Larry Madden (Randolph Scott) out of town with a bullwhip because he thought Larry was fooling with his daughter Corinna (Dorothy Malone). Now Larry is back for revenge. But there's another faction in town, one operated by saloon owner Pearlo. He also hates Ordway, and Larry finds himself in between. Larry gets some help from Pearlo's girl, Reva (Peggie Castle), until Pearlo finds out and has her killed. Larry has his chance to kill Ordway, but when he finds out the man is blind, he holds off. But word comes from Washington that Ordway never actually owned his land. There's a land rush for it, and Larry gets to Ordway's ranch first and stakes a claim—not for himself, but for Ordway and Corinna. He's about to leave when they ask him to stay, and Larry and Corinna finally get together. |
