| Description: | Cowboy Harley (Carleton Carpenter) goes to Vegas to compete in a rodeo. He's short the entrance fee, so he goes to a casino where he meets Dixie (Jan Sterling), who works there. They hit it off and spend the day together, although it's obvious she has more of a past than he does. At first, he's lucky at gambling and promises Dixie that he'll pay her way home. But then he loses the money. She gives him a device that will make slot machines pay, but Harley can't bring himself to use it. With his last dollar, he wins that jackpot. The boss of the place, Al (Keenan Wynn) sees the device, so he and dixie hightail it to Utah. Harley wants them to get married, but Dixie knows it won't work. She takes off but leaves him the money and a ticket back to Vegas. She also calls Al, clearing Harley of any wrongdoing. He competes in the rodeo and loses and goes back to being a cowboy. |
