| Description: | The reaction of several college students in Conway, Arkansas, when they find out James Dean has been killed. Jimmy (Richard Thomas) ditches football practice, steals some liquor, hangs out along the river with friends, and gets drunk. They all decide to dress up scary and frighten couples who are parking. One of the girls dresses like a vampire and accidentally sets herself on fire. The police arrest Jimmy for stealing the liquor, and he's suspended from school. In a final scene three months later, he visits the burned girl and tells her he's heading for California to talk wtih Jame Dean's friends. |
