Most of the numbers were dull, as was the entire movie. I really didn't care enough about any of the characters to care one way or another. Of course, being an Esther Williams movie, there had to be silly swimming sequences that have nothing to do with the movie. In one, she swims with two young children. In another, she swims with a blow-up sailor doll. Really.
